Good value for money with a decent menu. The location is handy for business trips, being situated on a main road, and there is plenty of parking. The staff is also friendly and attentive, making for a pleasant overall experience.
The atmosphere is pretty standard and lacking in character, and the interior could use some updating. the noise level can be quite high during busy periods.

The location of this pub is perfect for party people looking to have a great time. It is situated in a beautiful coastal area, with stunning views of the sea and Lundy Island from some of the rooms. the rooms themselves are clean and comfortable, with a brilliant shower in the bathroom. the staff are attentive and accommodating, making sure that nothing is too much trouble for the guests. the breakfast is delicious, offering a choice of hot food, including a very satisfying full English.
Although the restaurant had good food, the additional dining room was a bit bleak.

The Sunday carvery was absolutely amazing! the beef was so tender and the roasted veggies and potatoes were cooked to perfection. the staff and locals were incredibly friendly and made us feel like old friends. We also loved the fact that we could bring our dog along and they were welcomed with open arms. It made our experience even more enjoyable. Best aspects: Succulent beef and delicious roasted veggies and potatoes. Friendly staff and welcoming locals.
That there was only one toilet to use. this was a minor inconvenience considering the amazing food and friendly atmosphere.
